Boxcar Scars
These are wide, U-shaped scars that have sharp edges and they can be either shallow or deep. The shallower they are, the better they respond to skin resurfacing treatments.

Ice Pick
These are pitted scars with narrow openings which creates a V-shape scar that goes deep into the skin, similar to chickenpox scar. Ice Pick is one of the most difficult scars to treat as they can extend far under the surface of the skin.

Rolling
Rolling typically have rounded edges and has an irregular, rolling appearance. These scars can become more noticeable as we age
Treatment Options :

EndyMed Pro FSR & Intensif
EndyMed 3 Deep™, is the latest generation in resurfacing technologies. It offers a safe, energy-based system that combines depth controlled epidermal fractional ablation with simultaneous delivery of heat deep into the dermis. The sophisticated software also personalises the treatment parameters, assuring minimal discomfort, minimal downtime and maximal safety for your skin.

CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing
Fractional ablative CO2 lasers create small vertical tunnels in the skin (microthermal zones) while leaving the surrounding skin intact. The surrounding untreated skin thus serves as a healing reservoir and significantly reduces the downtime and complication rate. New skin and collagen will form during the healing process and the end result is smoother skin with an improvement in scar appearance. Several sessions are usually needed to achieve the best results.

Subcision 360 Technique
Subcision is a technique to break up dense scar tissue within and beneath the dermal layer of the skin. The scar tissue adheres and pull on the skin during facial expression resulting in unnatural surface irregularities. Patients with rolling scars or tethering will benefit most from this treatment. In this treatment, a blunt tip cannula or needle is tunnelled under the skin to dissect and separate the adherent scars. This is followed by an introduction of a collagen-stimulating filler such as Ellanse or Radiesse. The filler acts as a scaffold to prevent scar tissue from adhering back to the skin, as well as stimulating collagen production.

Ellanse Collagen Fillers
Ellanse is a unique collagen biostimulating filler. It provides immediate correction for volume loss and helps with collagen production. Patients can expect improved facial contours as well as smoother and brighter skin. The results can last up to 4 years, reducing the need for repeat treatments.

Hydrafacial MD Elite
HydraFacial MD® Elite is the only hydra-dermabrasion procedure that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection simultaneously resulting in clearer, more beautiful skin with no discomfort or downtime. The treatment is soothing, moisturising, non-invasive and non-irritating.

TCA Cross
TCA cross involves the application of high concentration TCA (70-100%) directly onto the surface of scars. Its use is most appropriate in the treatment of ice-pick scars. Collagen remodelling and new collagen deposition will improve the appearance of these scars.
