Laser Toning 1064nm
Q-switch Laser Toning 1064nm is one of the laser treatment to lighten and control melasma. It also provides additional benefits of improving skin tone and texture and is suitable for all skin types and has a lesser risk of harming the skin compared to conventional treatments.
How long is the downtime?
There is no downtime although you may observe some mild redness right after treatment which will resolve within a day. You can return to normal activities immediately after treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
Depending on the presentation of the pigmented spots, a number of the same treatment or a combination of other treatments with Laser Toning may be needed. Our Doctors will be able to customise a treatment plan for you.
What can I expect during the treatment?
The treated area is thoroughly cleansed. Your eyes are then covered with protective goggles.
You will feel some warmth and a tingling sensation. The use of topical anaesthetic cream is not needed.
When can I start to see results?
You can begin to see some improvement after a few treatments. Pigmentation is less pronounced and skin tone becomes more even.
How long will my results last?
Results can be long-lasting especially when aftercare instructions and ongoing sun protection are strictly adhered to.
