DEEP ACNE SCARLESS
PROGRAM
This program is specially designed to help manage the common acne scarrings. Usually targeted towards mixed acne scarrings - a combination of ice-picks, rolling and boxcar scars. As everyone’s skin condition is different, Astute Aesthetics created a formula to treat this dilemma once and for all. Our program enables flexibility and takes into account of the various types of acne scarrings you have. By doing so, we will be able to customize the perfect treatment combination for your skin.
Understand Your Skin
Why do you have acne scars? Scars are formed when a breakout penetrates the skin deeply and damages the tissues beneath it while each type of scars responds to treatments differently!

#1 BOXCAR SCARS
These are wide, U-shaped scars that have sharp edges and they can be either shallow or deep. The shallower they are, the better they respond to skin resurfacing treatments.
Type Of Treatment
The ideal treatment for these types of scars is the Secret RF. It is fractional radio frequency micro-needling system for tissue coagulation and hemostasis designed to stimulate collagen. This is applied with precision directly into various depths of skin, with mild irritation and reduces the patient downtime.
These are pitted scars with narrow openings which creates a V-shape scar that goes deep into the skin, similar to chickenpox scar. Ice Pick is one of the most difficult scars to treat as they can extend far under the surface of the skin.
#2 ICE PICK
Type Of Treatment
Subcision is the best treatment as it is a simple and safe procedure. By using a small needle to stimulate the growth of collagen breaking the underneath scar tissue, which helps to shed away dead skin cells replacing it with younger cells.

#3 ROLLING
Rolling typically have rounded edges and has an irregular, rolling appearance.
These scars can become more noticeable as we age.
Type Of Treatment
Chemical Peel + Erbium Laser is an effective scar removal treatment to resurface your skin and remove or reduce the depth of scars. However there is alternative, where we can use fuller to fill in the acne scars which will then even out the skin. They’re injected under the surface of the skin to help plump up and smooth out depressed scars.
Most filler last between 6 - 18 months before they need to be redone and there is absolutely no downtime at all!
