About Dr. desmond
Dr Desmond graduated with Honours from Monash University, Melbourne, with a degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
He subsequently served in the public hospitals and underwent training in various medical and surgical departments. It was there that he honed his procedural skills, improved his dexterity, and learnt how to optimise pain control to provide a comfortable patient experience.
He brought these skills along as he ventured into the field of aesthetics.
Dr Desmond is fully accredited by the Singapore Medical Council Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee to perform a wide range of aesthetic procedures including botulinum toxins, fillers, non-surgical facelift, chemical peels, lasers, body contouring etc.
Prior to joining Astute, he was practicing in an established medical aesthetics group where he also oversaw the training and development of new doctors.

His expertise lies in providing combination treatments that are evidence-based, safe and effective with minimal pain and downtime.
Dr Desmond is committed to stay up to date with the latest advancements and trends in aesthetic medicine. He regularly reads up medical journals for the latest developments and attends conferences internationally. Outside of work, Dr Desmond is an avid traveller who has travelled extensively. His love for nature has brought him trekking in the far corners of the world. He is also a sports enthusiast with a flair for ball and racket games.
