What is Our Saggy Skin Skin Lifting Programme?
Facial sagging is one of the visible indications of ageing. This is due to loosening of the different layers of the face, including the skin, superficial and deep fat, and superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS) A surgical face lift has been the gold standard for treating facial sagging. However, the associated downtime, together with the general risks of surgery has spurred consumers to look for non-invasive methods of face lifting. These come in the form of energy-based devices such as radiofrequency or High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) devices.
The Astute Programme for skin rejuvenation consists of (4) sessions of Rejuran with Teosyal Redensity 1 Skinboosters, (4) sessions of Fractional CO2 laser, (6) sessions of Venus Legacy, a bottle of Calecim Multi Action Cream and a bottle of Calecim Restorative Hydration
Rejuran with RD1
Fractional CO2 Laser
STEP 1 - REJURAN WITH TEOSYAL REDENSITY 1
We start off the programme with a session of Rejuran. We mix it with a Hyaluronic Acid based skinbooster to provide additional hydration. Rejuran can only be used together with non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid. We find the Teosyal Redensity 1 to be the perfect fit. Apart from being non-cross-linked, it also contains a cocktail of other antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to give additional rejuvenation and lightening. Doing this as a first step will provide the skin with adequate hydration so that it can undergo future energy-based treatments.
STEP 2 - VENUS LEGACY
This will be done 2 weeks after the first session of Rejuran, when we are sure that the skin has recovered. The radiofrequency energy will heat up the skin gently, stimulating collagen production to give a tightening effect.
STEP 3 - FRACTIONAL CO2 LASER
A Fractional CO2 Laser can then be done on the same day after the Venus Legacy session. We utilise the Deka Smartxide’s rejuvenation settings, which is much gentler than what is usually used to treat acne scars. The CO2 Laser does a mild peel of the skin’s outer layer, while stimulating additional collagen production. Patients can expect some redness on the face for about 3 to 4 days.
