The First Bio Remodelling Injectable
The First Bio-Remodelling Injectable That Uses 100% Pure Hyaluronic Acid
Neither a filler nor skin booster, is a BDDE-free stabilised injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) based product that can bio-stimulate 4 types of collagen, elastin and proliferate adipocytes (fat) stem cells for addressing skin laxity and signs of skin aging. This is the first and only HA injectable that is able to improve skin laxity through the stimulation of elastin. With one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market (64mg / 2ml) it is not only boosting and hydrating the skin, but also remodels the aging and sagging tissue. This is made possible with the patented NAHYCO® Technology where 32mg of high molecular weight HA (H-HA) and 32mg of low molecular weight HA (L-HA), bind together through thermal cross-linking to form the only Hybrid Cooperative Complex Hyaluronic Acid.
How does this work?
-
Provides volume to the overall area injected
-
Provides hydration (up to 5x more hyaluronic acid content than skinboosters!)
-
Invokes a bio-remodelling process of 4 types of collagen under your skin
-
Improves your skin structure and reduces skin laxity

Able to achieve the above because it contains 100% of both low molecular and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid.
Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid works by working as a water reservoir and moisturize the skin, like a skinbooster.
High molecular weight hyaluronic acid provides a stable hyaluronic acid structure in the skin dermis to give a volumetric lift – it increases volume like a filler by increasing the production of endogenous HA (Hyaluronic Acid) and native elastin.
Profhilo stimulates elastin and collagen production to improve skin laxity, something that skinboosters and fillers cannot provide. Because it has a much smoother consistency than fillers, it spreads out evenly under the skin without forming any lumps.
What & where to used for?
Used to treat skin laxity, improve skin quality, increase skin hydration, and increase volumetric lifting of the areas targeted. It can be used to treat skin laxity and skin quality, almost anywhere.
Common areas treated include:
-
Face
-
Neck
-
Décolletage (Chest)
-
Hands
It is most suitable for:
-
Adults experiencing skin laxity issues due to volume loss
-
Saggy, wrinkly skin
-
Those with fine lines due to dryness
Amazing as it is, not a replacement for fillers nor muscle-relaxing toxins. It however, gives the skin a rejuvenation and lift to further complement or boost the effect of the subsequent treatment. It will be best to speak to your doctor about what would help your issues the most.

How often do I need to do it?
-
The full treatment consists of two sessions, 4 weeks apart.
-
The first session stimulates hydration and provides a volumizing effect. The second session serves to ‘boost’ the effects, and ensure longer lasting effects.
-
The effects is immediate, and continues to improve over 6-8 weeks. A third session can be repeated 6-12 months later depending on individuals.
Painful?
-
Injected under the skin using very small needles.
-
The protocol on the face requires it to be injected on 5 points each side of the face. The process is made more comfortable with numbing cream applied on prior to the procedure.
-
Slight soreness around the injection points can sometimes be felt for the first 1-2 days.
Is there downtime?
-
There is minimal downtime, and most people will continue with normal activities. As with most injectable treatments, bruising and some soreness can sometimes occur.
-
A small bump over the injection site can be observed for a few hours after the procedure. There is no need to massage this bump as it spreads under the skin by itself.
-
For patients with thinner skin doing neck treatments, the bumps may stay for a longer period of time, but can be gently massaged in to reduce the downtime.
-
Strenuous exercise and alcohol should be avoided for 24hours after the treatment.
Are there any side effects?
-
There are no long-term side effects, is broken down by the body completely. It is also bio-compatible, and doesn’t cause any inflammatory reaction.
-
Although there are minimal side effects when injecting on the face, except for occasional bruising, it is important to make sure that you find an experienced doctor as there are vital blood vessels to avoid when injecting in areas such as the neck.
-
The injection technique is important in achieving optimum results. It should not be injected too deeply into the skin, as this will not produce satisfactory results.
